TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
